Meeting the Needs of All Service Users
Whether it’s our website builds, graphic design work, or animations we do our upmost to make the designs accessible to everyone. Here’s how we cater to the needs of service users:
- User-Centred Design: We incorporate accessibility features into our products and services from the ground up, ensuring they meet and/or exceed the AA Accessibility standards of usability required for individuals with specific needs. These include but not limited to:
- Perceivable
- Text Contrast: Text and images of text will have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Text Size: Regular body text of 12pt (14pt for bold) or larger and Large text of 18pt or larger.
- Legible Fonts: Fonts will be used as specified in the brand guidelines, however for non-specified fonts they will be suitably legible and not overly decorative for readers.
- Operable
- Headings and Labels are clear
- Focus Order: Document text flow to ensure minimal eye jumping between pages and paragraphs.
- Perceivable
- Multi Language Approach: When more than one language is required by our clients we go above and beyond to meet all language needs. They include but not limited to; online language selectors, split language copy designs and even printing for braille. We’re proud to lead the way in accessible design.
- Multi-Channel Communication: We operate on several communication channels including email, phone, video calls, and WhatsApp, making it easy for users to reach us through their preferred method. All forms of communication except phone calls are stored for training and monitoring purposes.
